LannerViewer utilizes an AI-typed image analytics engine to identify parked vehicles from images acquired by conventional CCTV cameras, enabling the implementation of a parking guidance system without additional physical sensors as well as providing surveillance and security which are the basic functions of CCTV camera.
TIS provides a parking guidance system (PGS) with CCTV camera, which lows drivers to find available parking spaces quickly and easily in surface lots.
Most existing PGS for outdoor parking lots must install physical sensors such as geomagnetic sensors, ultrasonic sensors, IR sensors, or loop sensors on each parking space to detect the parked vehicles. These systems are expensive to install because they require drilling holes or cutting grooves on the floor surface of the parking lot, and there are problems that errors in vehicle detection may occur due to the influence of surrounding objects such as adjacent vehicles and fallen leaves etc.

For LannerView, several IP digital cameras are placed to cover the entire area of surface lot without blind spots, and whole images are recoded in NVR. POMS integrated with LannerView engine retrieves the image from each camera and processes them to detect the objects, so that PGS is implemented by recognizing vehicles parked at the parking spaces.
